Edting the film

Editing the film is taking longer than anticipated, due to the 30 minutes of film we have to edit. We are currently experimenting with layering the video, in our flash backs. This gives it a sporadic and disjointed effect that makes it clear its a flashback. Before entering the flashback we have a inserted a blank white slide, giving the effect of a flash. We will be speeding up sections of the film, to, try and up the intensity of the film. We will be adding some non diegetic sound effects too, our film. This will make it dynamic

We have taken influence from Shaun of the dead and lock stock and two smoking barrels, in terms of shot types. The shaun of the dead shot type is the quick cuts, close up and super imposed sound.

We have many ideas mainly focussing on the premise of surrealism. So far our results are disjointed and sporadic, and we have yet to create a coherent story-line. Our ideas focus upon a disgruntled worker who is unhappy with his day to day life. It will be shot in a style reminiscent of Shaun Of The Dead.
