We intend on framing the short film, reminiscent of Shaun of the dead. Lots of fast cuts to keep the action going. The initial idea is to have a fair amount of reaction shots, to try and portray the characters emotions. The lighting in the beginning scenes will be dark, to highlight the severity of his crime.
During the scenes in the open, the shots will be mid to long shot, to capture the action.The whole chase seen will be split between the mid range and reaction shots. With the death of the police man there will be extreme close ups to show the death of him.
We are also thinking of using first person perspective when the police person gets stabbed.
